The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 for Primary and Junior Level Exams. Here are the key details:

Last Date for Registration: 16/10/2024
Last Date for Fee Payment: 16/10/2024
Correction Window: 21-25 October 2024
Exam Date: 14-15 December 2024
Admit Card Availability: Before the exam
Answer Key Availability: After the exam
Result Declaration: To be notified

Application Fee:

For Single Paper (Primary or Junior Level):
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1000
- SC / ST / PH: ₹500
For Both Papers (Primary & Junior Levels):
- General / OBC / EWS: ₹1200
- SC / ST / PH: ₹600
Payment Mode: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.

Eligibility Criteria:

Primary Level (Class I to V) Eligibility:

Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE regulations, or
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Junior Level (Class VI to VIII) Eligibility:

Graduation and passed/appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), or
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed. as per NCTE regulations, or
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.), or
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in a 4-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed, or
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed/appearing in B.Ed. (Special Education), or
Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks and passed/appearing in a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

How to Apply:

Apply online between 17/09/2024 and 16/10/2024.
Fill in your details carefully and check eligibility, ID proofs, and other documents.
Scan and upload the necessary documents (photo, signature, ID proof).
Review your application form before submitting.
Pay the required application fee. Your form will not be considered complete without fee payment.
Take a printout of the final submitted form.
